Job Summary
The Road Master shall be in charge of all road-related repairs and shall report to and work with the Supervisors to prepare an annual and monthly forecast of needed road maintenance and repairs.
Road Master shall possess or learn the skills necessary to perform the duties and responsibilities of the skilled maintenance position.
Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
EXPERIENCE:
3+ years experience in road maintenance operations preferred but not necessary;
Knowledge of equipment maintenance
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Mechanical ability
Troubleshooting ability
Problem solving ability
Knowledge of Manual, Power and Pneumatic Tools
Ability to interpret blueprints, maps and charts
CDL License (Class A preferred)

Safety and Workplace Requirements
All safety rules/policies, both verbal and written must be followed. Accidents involving injuries, property damage, and spills must be reported immediately to the supervisors. Near misses (close calls) must also be reported. Workplace organization standards must be maintained in all areas.
Personal Protection Equipment
Safety glasses with side shields that meet ANSI Z87.1-1989 standards.
Hearing protection as required in designated areas.
Foot Protection ANSI standards
Safety vest and other equipment according to company policy.
Hours
Road Master works 40 hours per week. Winter hours vary from standard shift of 6AM to 2PM. Overtime for weather and emergency-related work is expected.

Full pay rate will begin after a probationary period.
