The Chief of Police is the Chief Administrative Officer of the Borough's full-service Law Enforcement Organization.  The Police Department has an authorized workforce of 15 full-time officers including the Chief, 1 Lieutenant, 1 Detective and 12 Police Officers.  In addition, there are two civilian positions, one Administrative Assistant and one Accreditation Manager.  The Borough serves a population of 5,740 residents and also serves Earl Township with a population of approximately 7,200 for a combined population of approximately 12,940.  The Chief will be responsible for the operational and administrative functions of the Police Department under the direction of the Borough Manager.
